ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:
Sabi Lofgren has held a strong interest in the creation of movies ever since his childhood. He has directed numerous shorts in both the narrative and documentary realms.  Sabi comes to Los Angeles from Vero Beach, Florida, where he spent a year working with the Walt Disney Company as a Castmember.  Prior to this, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Florida with Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Music Composition and English (with a Film Studies Emphasis).  Sabi recently received his Master of Fine Arts Degree in Film Production from the University of Southern California where he worked closely with the faculty as a Teacher’s Assistant in Directing and Production classes for both Undergraduate and Graduate Students.  Sabi is currently in the process of writing a feature length family film and lives in Glendale, California with his wife Kelly.

ABOUT THE FILM:
A fanciful family film of mystery and coming of age, Loon tells the tale of Carson Lind, a boy forced to move to Florida when his parents establish a wacky, stereotypical Mexican restaurant in an old historic home:  
“The Casa Minnehaha!”
When strange events begin to unravel in the creepy old manor, Carson befriends the intriguing daughter of their new chef and suddenly his eyes are opened to new cultures, new feelings and to the mystery that has befallen the old Spanish casa!
